Quraish
{1} لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ
For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish,
{2} إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ
Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer
{3} فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ
Let them adore the Lord of this House,
{4} الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ
Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger).
Al-Ma'un
{1} أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ
Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)?
{2} فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ
Then such as the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness),
{3} وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ
And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.
{4} فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ
So woe to the worshippers
{5} الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ
Who are neglectful of their Prayers,
{6} الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ
Those who (want but) to be seen (of men),
{7} وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ
But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.
Al-Kauthar
{1} إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ
To thee have We granted the Fount (of Abundance).
{2} فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice.
{3} إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ
For he who hateth thee; He will be cut off (from Future Hope).
